Rotor kit + 2 1mm stators for manufacturing butterfly-type variable capacitor.
These boards are made with 1 mm double-sided PCBs and communicated by the pathways. Two in the stators and one in the rotor.
Holes are for M5 rod. Hole diameter 5.1mm.
With 22 sets and 4mm standoffs, you get a 14pF to 165pF capacitor. Maximum transmission power approximately 40w. With 1.20m diameter loop antenna. Resonance approximately at 20m, 30m and 40m depending on the antenna.
With 22 sets and 5mm standoffs you get a 17pF to 120pF capacitor. Maximum transmission power approximately 100w.
With 27 sets and 5mm standoffs you get a 14pF to 165pF capacitor. Maximum transmission power approximately 100w. With 1.90m diameter loop antenna. Resonance approximately at 20m, 30m and 40m depending on the antenna.
The configuration that has given me the best result with real tests is: 20 rotors/42 stators/4mm separators/1.40m diameter ring. This capacitor has 12.7pF up to 149pF and allows us to use 40w in 40m CW and up to 80w in 15m CW. The resonance frequency range achieved with this configuration is from 5,600 Mhz to 21,150 Mhz. That is, 15m, 17m, 20m, 30m and 40m.
The assembly mounted on threaded rods, with the two bases, has a size of 100mm X 80mm. The length according to the number of games that are inserted.
