The AITEC programmer is one of the pioneering devices for checking and duplicating fixed code remote controls on which most current machines are based.
Around the year 2000 it came out on the market and it was a revolution, simple, small, versatile, portable and suitable for duplicating hundreds of different models of remote controls on the market, of any frequency from 25 MHZ to 434 MHz. At that time it was used for frequencies such as 25, 30, 280, 290, 310, 315, 330 and 434, which were the most common.
More sophisticated machines with different functions later came out of this programmer, but the base they incorporate is due to our AITEC programmer.
The most basic thing is to use it to know if a remote control transmits or not. Simply by pressing its button and approaching the original remote control, if it transmits, we will hear a characteristic sound through the speaker of the AITEC programmer.
The signal received by the AITEC programmer can be recorded in countless blank remote controls such as DTM-2, DTM-Q, DTM-H6 and many more.
It goes incorporated in a remote control case and it has a 12 Volt battery. 3-pin programming probe.
The way to program is very simple:
1.-First, we press and hold the upper button of the AITEC programmer while we bring the original remote control closer (1cm) and transmit, we will hear a sound in the speaker of the AITEC programmer. This means that the remote control transmits. Sometimes, although a remote control turns on its LED light, it does not transmit. In this way we confirm that it transmits.
To make a duplicate, in all the models mentioned above, the way is the same.
2.-We plug in the three pins of the probe. If it has 3 holes, we connect in any position. If the blank remote control has 5 holes, we connect in the center the three of them, although in any position, leaving the two of the ending free.
3.- We press and release the button of the blank remote control where we want to record. Its light will blink 3 times.
4.- Press the buttons of the programmer and the original remote control as indicated in step 1.- until the virgin remote control flashes continuously again.
5.- We disconnect the probe. That button is already programmed.
If we want to copy more buttons, we will repeat step 3.- but pressing another button of the virgin remote control.
